"One of the highest regarded blended whiskies around, although it has no age statement, the 'Blue Label' contains old and rare whiskies. Opens very slowly to reveal a mass of aromas; lanolin, smoke , hessian, dried fruit, polished wood floors, oak, cake, liquorice, silky red fruit and cream. Hold it in the mouth and there's allspice, sultana cake, crisp malt, and turfry smoke which builds in intensity as the whisky opens. Long, smokey and fruit pastille finish. 40% ABV" Dave Broom
