Description
As soon as you open a bottle of Ugo Bing Chianti, you are hit with an unmistakable 'Italian wine aroma'. Full of cherries intermingling with the distinctive earthy aroma that makes this wine typical, high quality Tuscan fare. When the sangiovese grape variety is grown in the unique Tuscan soils, it produces one of the world's favourite wines. In particularly good years this producer makes a Riserva which exemplifies the variety and winemaking techniques. A wine of elegance and charm is the result. Ripe fruit on the palate combines with a typically Italian savouriness, slightly herbaceous and green. Well managed tannin and a dry, long finish. Obvious I know, but it really does go well with pizza!
