Crowded House is all about taking a fresh new look at classic New Zealand wines. Marlborough's vineyards yield wines with good length and a smorgasbord of fruit characters. The vines are picked batch by batch, at separate times. Early picking delivers fruit with higher acidity and wonderful citrus characters. Voluptuous, richly developed expressions are typical of later picked, riper fruit. Crowded House is well rehearsed at taking full advantage of the unique opportunitities presented each season. Fruit parcels are vinified individually, inoculated with select wild ferments, and assembled without any oak treatment whatsoever into a vibrant and fresh, fruit forward styling.
