Founded in 1850, Gancia is an Italian winemaker specializing in sparkling wines. As the name suggests, this sparkling wine is made from the Prosseco variety of grape (as of 2009, referred to as Glera grapes). This traditional Italian sparkling wine is Gancia's basic cuvee. This is a fresh, pleasant, smooth and well balanced wine with a persistent with a fruity finish.
